                   series of books written by Terry Pratchett

                           DISCLAIMER
       All files were created independantly and with no
       correspondance with Terry Pratchett or Doubleday
       books (apart from through the books themselves..
       ..does that count?) They are the property of the
       author, but may be reproduced and distributed on
       the condition that this readme.txt file is always
       included.

Installation     : Create a windows directory as required,
                   and unzip all files into it. copies of
                   *.ttf font files should be placed in the
                   directory C:\windows\fonts if C: is your
                   root directory

Using Icons      : Shortcuts=
                   Right click on the shortcut,
                   select "properties", then either "program"
                   or "shortcut", and "change icon". Click 
                   on "browse" and then select the appropriate
                   directory and icon file.

                   System icons=
                   I suggest using the Microangelo program demo
                   available for download at:
                   http://impactsoft.com/

Using Cursors    : Go to the Windows start Bar, and select:
                   "Settings", "Control Panel", "Mouse", 
                   "Pointers", and then select the chosen
                   state and browse for the cursor file.

Using Backgrounds: Right click on your desktop background,
                   and select "properties", "background",
                   "browse", and select a .bmp file from the
                   right directory. If you are using an 
                   'active desktop' as available with 
                   Microsoft Internet Explorer then you can
                   use the more compact .jpg files instead.

                         PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Among other things, we'll try to make these workable for other
operating systems, including those for Mac's. And eventually
we'd like to make some sounds for Windows, as well as adding
to the current selection of icons etc of course.
